After reading so many comments, I'm afraid to buy SSD, Dear all my friends please check this product (

Patriot 128GB SSD P300 M.2 2280 NVME PCIE (P300P128GM28) )

will this support my Acer ASPIRE  A315-31 laptop?

There may be different sub-models of A315-31, most of them use Celeron N3350 or Pentium N4200 type of processors and DDR3L RAM. Let us know the exact sub-model number of it.

I believe you cannot use a "M" key M.2 NVMe SSD for laptops of that era, such as the one shown in the link.

Do not know why you are afraid to buy SSD.

Your A3115-31 may be slow because of the processor speed. However, I think the best way for you to improve performance is to replace the existing spinning HDD with a 2.5" SATA3 SSD, this should be the best way to go, as the 2.5" SSD is like three times faster than mechanical HDD.

You may need to download a cloning software and buy an external USB interface 2.5" SATA SSD adapter, so you can migrate all the contents of your existing mechanical HDD to the new 2.5" SSD inside the adapter.

    If you have an

Acer Aspire A315-31-P72U model, you may have 128 GB SSD already.
