Nitro n50-600 RX 580 upgrade

Hello everyone, I have the Acer Nitro n50-600 with the gtx 1650. I wanted to upgrade my gtx 1650 to my rx 580 sapphire. I noticed that there is a model that comes with an rx580 pre-installed so I figured there should be no issues. Well, the computer does not boot with the 580 installed. I have disabled safe boot in bios settings, and still does not boot. I am wondering if I need to reflash my bios in order to support the rx580? My current bios (came with pc) is R01-D0. If so, what bios supports this card?

tldr: Attempted to change OEM gtx 1650 to rx580, pc doesnt boot, how to make it work? Bios reflash?

Hi @TheBaconator2121,

The RTX 2060 super is compatible with your N50-600. But....on some N50-600 there is a 300 watt power supply instead of 500 watt power supply. If you have a 300 watt power supply, you need to upgrade to at least a 500 watt power supply for the RTX2060 super.
