I just purchase a new Aspire 5 and I would like to create a factory recovery media set. There is no recovery manager installed on the laptop even though there website states it does. There is no recovery disk partition either.
I would like to do a clean install like it came out of the box. The reason for doing this is my son messed up the initial installation.

How do you know there's no  recovery partition since it's hidden? Recovery Management is in the AcerCareCenter which you should be able to find by clicking on the search app and entering ACER. If AcerCareCenter is not installed, go to this link , and enter your full A5 model number, for example A515-54G, and download the AcerCareCenter from the apps section.

Have you tried to hold down ALT key ( or ALT+ Fn keys) and keep tapping F10 key when bootup to reach the Recovery Menu? That where you can tell you can have the PC reset.

Or in Win 10 Disk Management, can you see a 1 GB Recovery Partition there?

    Hi @Sabre38,

Windows 10: Reset your PC to factory settings using the Acer Care Center
    1. Type Acer Care Center in the search box.
    2. Click on Acer Recovery Management.
    3. Click on get started right to reset your PC.
    4. Click on Remove everything.
    5. Click on Just remove my files.
    6. Click on Reset.

There is no option to create a recovery media in the Acer care center. I would like to have this so I can put it away for safe keeping.

If you did NOT try to install Win11, go to this link, unzip and install the latest AcerCareCenter update.
