So I bought a new Acer Nitro 5 charger for my Acer Nitro 5 AN515-43 but the "cord" things are separating which didn't happen with the original charger that my laptop came with. This is the second one I got since the previous one did the same thing. I don't know if it's defective or because of mishandling/misuse.

@BunE you can use superglue for an electrical tape with you aren't familiar with using glue. The laptop adapter is separated into 2 parts that are AC cable and power converter part. What you need to replace is the AC cable part(the one that you plug into the outlet). The plug might be different depending on your country, but this cable is relatively common and cheap. You can find this everywhere.

@BunE it seems that cord has bad quality control. But you don't have to worry about it, you can just glue that separating wire back or get a rounded cable like this:

Horrible quality, absolutely. Ok thank you, but regarding the former answer, is there any specific glue not too use? While for the latter does Acer provide it or do I have to source it myself? If it's the latter, any specification I should be looking for?

Sorry for the question but I have 0 knowledge when it comes hardware like this.
