Hi Guys,
My Predator PT315-51 wont turn on, I was working on it and suddenly it stopped. I turned on and waited but the screen did not come up nor the fans turned on, even though the keyboard lights are on.

I went though the suggestions in other posts and did not find any battery reset button, so I drained all battery, gave it a day break, then cleaned and swapped the RAMs, tried opening BIOS through F2, but nothing seems to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Note: Chat support is not working, they put me on hold for 30 minutes to notify that it got cancelled. I am not sure hoe the service is here in Bangalore, India.

@SusobhanDash yout triton doenst have the battery powerdrain switch this was only available on the predators from 2017/18 it was removed on all variants after so  to perform the battery powerdrain its the same procedure but using the power button instead also check if your ram its properly seated and all cables properly connected including the display edp cable on both sides you could also try a external display if that works might mean your internal display its faulty or the cable itself if its working with an external display send it back to acer to get it diagnosed asap assuming youre still under warranty and havent broken any warranty seals/stickers as that would void it straight  good luck :)

    Thanks xapim

I tried connecting with external display before even opening it up, it did not show anything. Seems like even BIOS is not loading. My default OS was loaded in the SSD, and when I opened the backside, the SSD seemed very hot upon touching. Would it be any issue related to SSD ? Any idea ?

    Hi @SusobhanDash,

Are you getting any light indication when charger is connected.

    Hey guys,
Sorry for such enormous delay. I managed to get it fixed by myself, even though I am not sure what fixed it.

First I opened up the backside, removed all RAMs, cleaned them with a napkin, reinserted. Did not resolve the issue
Next I disconnected the battery and connected through direct power. Did not resolve

Lastly, kept the power button pressed until all lights on system went off. Then turned on, and when issue was still there, kept repeating for next couple of times.

Then suddenly after an half hour break, it started normally.

Since then the issue came back once, but never again.

I guess this has to do with some charge in the motherboard that does not clear off when shutting down the system.

Still, a great thanks to all who tried to help. Interacting with you all helped me gain so much additional knowledge and confidence to do this myself, rather than coughing up hundreds of bucks in Service center.
