nitro 5 an515 55 boot issue

I’ve got an acer nitro 5 an515 55, it’s about a year old which is the last time i opened it to put ram and and ssd in. I was using it on the 12th and it randomly died, it showed no signs of slowing down before so. It now won’t turn on, the charging lights are both off and the fans don’t spin at all, I’m sending it in for repair on the 15th but I would like to know if there is anything I can do before then.

Try resetting the battery: turn off the computer, unplug the power adapter, press the power button for thirty seconds, and leave the computer off for half an hour.

Try to do power drain,

1. Shutdown the unit.
2. Unplug the cables connected to the unit.
3. At bottom of the unit there will be a small tiny pin hole with a battery symbol close to it. Take a pin or a paper clip insert into it you feels like pressing a button hold it for 20-30 seconds.

*****! its a 2020 model not older, you are no help. There is not pinhole, dummy

First, was this laptops battery fully charged when you turned it on? As that could be a big problem, as the battery especially being left for 1 year unused, which this time process discharges the battery and denigrates the battery condition and even if it has a charge this charge will not last long, as all batteries need constant discharging and recharging for them to function properly. You needs to completely discharged the battery (like its now) and until the laptop powers off and then you need to fully charge the battery until its 100% charged and leave it for another 1 hour to continue charging before you turn the laptop on and use it (this has to be done a few times) as the battery should be completely regenerated for it to be usable.

If all that doesn't power your laptop on? Then take the charger plug out first, then open the back cover and undo its screws, pry the back cover open/off and also wear an anti static wrist band (before you touch any internal circuitries) then disconnect the main battery plug and the CMOS BIOS battery plug (little black battery) and leave then unplugged for 1 to 2 minutes, plug both batteries back and reassemble everything, turn the laptop on (wait for about 1 minute until the bios resets) as and after all this, the laptop should power on and work. If not, then the laptop has an internal main 3.3V and Super IO circuitries power issues that one of its capacitors has deteriorated and./or shortened and needs replacing, which can only be done by an experienced technician that has all the proper tools and equipment.
