Acer V247Y - Why is this monitor so difficult to find?

Been looking for the V247Y (UM.QV7AA.001) professional monitor for quite some time now. However, everywhere I look, the stock is extremely low or non-existant. There seems to be more stock of gaming monitors or of higher resolutions, such as 1440P. Why is stock so low for this monitor?

Throughout the channels worldwide we are seeing shortages, I don't know how Acer decides which models to go ahead with and which to hold back on while they work to get better supplies of parts. I expect some are driven by availability and some by demand. So if a current model is selling very well they might hold off on building a new one until there's a better parts supply. I've been having the same issue waiting for the 11th gen i7 / GTX 3060 desktops. Nearly a year since announcement, but still no availability except in some other locales.
