Hey there,

Planning to upgrade my Helios 300 (Model Number: PH315-52-54FD). This laptop comes with a 60Hz IPS Panel with a 30-pin EDP connector on the display.
However i noticed the other end of the cable is a 40-pin connector (the side that plugs into the motherboard)

It has a 1660ti which means it's really bottlenecked by the display.
I ordered a display that seemed to fit the specs but it was slightly larger which meant it didn't even fit inside the chassis, also it had a 40-pin EDP connector which made
me realize the mistake i made.

Now what if i were able to find a 40-pin to 40-pin EDP cable and use it with the display destined for the 315-52 Series, and use it along with a display for the
PH-315-53-77KO?

My display is absolutely destroyed so it's really time for a new one  :#
Thanks in advance!

nuttyNaoko your edp cable needs to match the exact pins in the existing one or it wont work but you can give it a try good luck to me the best solution with less hassle would be getting a proper external display but you would loose the mobility :)
