Aspire A315-21-95kKF Won't Start After Memory Upgrade

I installed a Teamgroup Elite 8GB Single DDR4 2400MHz PC4-19200 (TED48G2400C16-SBK) in my laptop and it will not boot up. The screen stays blank.  I thought the item may have been defected but I am having the same results with the replacement unit. When I remove it and insert the existing stick it boots right up...I have not attempted to do anything with the bios.

    This often happens with dual-channel capable non-replaceable on board DDR4 RAM when trying to pair it a replaceable DDR4 RAM sodimm module especially if it's a budget sodimm that's not the same size as the on board RAM or dual channel capable. Only Micron and Hynix sodimms has been tested and certified to work properly in this model as shown below.  I suggest that you go to crucial.com and run their scanner on your laptop to see what sodimm upgrades it recommends. Crucial usually uses top of the line Micron sodimms
