Hello all, trying to do a clean install of windows 11 on a Acer Predator Triton 300 however the install program does not find the SDD/HDD. I have not changed anything on this machine. Obviously it is recognized in the bios, and runs fine with windows 10. Is there something in the bios that needs to be changed?

okmitch77 personally i wouldnt recommend win11 right now i would advise you to stay on 10 for a couple more years until they patch the major bugs/compatibility issues that the end users will keep finding but its up to you good luck :)

xapim thank you for responding. I understand 11 has issues. However, what is it that is stopping the installer from picking up the SDD/HDD to install. Any insight?

okmitch77 most probably incompatibility with the hardware/drivers as i stated above you would be better getting back on 10 which also still full of bus but the incompatibility issues are mostly solved also theres nothing to gai from 11 uless you have a 12th gen cpu win 11 was designed to work with intke 12th gen only even the amd cpus are having performance issues they did it on purpose partnered with intel and designed a OS optimized for the newer 12th gen only all other cpus including all amd wont take advantage of anything in fact they will under perform under win11 which makes intel look good lol  :)

It's likely not loading the IRST drivers from Intel, it can't see the drives until those are loaded.
