Hi,
I have following problems with my Spin SP513-54N 2020 Model (i5-1035G4 Bios v1.10):
When connecting an SSD HDD (Sandisk) to the USB-C port (the
one next to the power supply connector) then the SSD HD get’s extremely hot (too hot to use), when connecting the same SSD HDD to the other USB-C port (the one
next to the HDMI connector) then there is no heating problem with the external
SSD HDD.
In addition, when connecting an external device (e.g.
external HDD) to the USB-C port next to the power supply connector then I do
not have sound over the internal speakers.
When I connect the same external device to the other USB-C port (the one next to the HDMI connector) then I still have sound over the internal speakers.
Has anybody else with a Spin SP513-54 2020 Model experiencing this issue ?
I ask me whether this is a Construction/Design Fault or a Manufacturing Defect.
