Aspire 4830tg GPU driver problem

Hello everyone! I just found my old laptop, an Aspire 4830tg and I can't figure out what's the problem with it. I was using windows 10 and I couldn't get a graphics driver(the gpu isn't found in the device manager list). I tried updating the PCI drivers but that also didn't work. Now I installed Windows 7 on it and the gpu still isn't in the device manager list. I tried installing the nvidia graphics driver from the Acer website and it doesn't find my gpu either, so I can't install it.
Can you please help me with this problem?

    Try this.
    (1) Shut down Windows normally
    (2) Unplug charger. No LEDs should be lit.
    (3) Insert paper clip into reset pinhole in the middle of the battery door for about a minute
    (4) Plug charger back in but wait till battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue
    (5) Only after battery charge LED turns steady blue, turn laptop back on and immediately press the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu
    (6) Press F9 in the BIOS menu to load defaults. Press F10 to save defaults and exit the BIOS menu
    (7) Laptop should start Windows login normally.
    (8) Check DeviceManager display adaper folder again for nvidia chip or any red or yellow driver warnings

Thanks for the answer. I don't have the battery anymore, could that be the problem?

Should be a problem if it still boots. Just enter the BIOS menu with F2 at boot time. Press F9 to load defaults. Then F10 to save defaults and exit. If Device Manager still doesn't display the nvidea GPU display adapter, and there are no red or yellow warnings, then the nvidia GPU chip has either failed or developed bad/cracked solder pin connection(s).
