Predator Helios 300 laptop, why does the screen shut off randomly?

so I'm using the Predator Helios 300 laptop, for some reason whenever I'm playing games or just doing anything my laptop will like shut off or freeze. My power indicator, telling me its's on, with start to flicker and turn orange than shut off. whenever I restart it, it doesn't play the starting sound, has me sign back in(like my pin) and it will still have my applications open and running which confuses me even more. Even while I'm typing this it doesn't shut off but I know when I start playting that it's going to start doing it again. It doesn't do it often but it's still very annoying, so if anyone has any ideas about what is happening and how to fix it, that would be very helpful.

Google search 'cpu temperature freeware'. Download and install one of the many available. Try to meaure CPU and GPU temperatures while gaming. If they consistently reach about 85*C, the heatsinks probably needed to be repasted to the CPU/GPU for better cooling.
