RL85: Power on boot up

I've upgraded my HDD to an SSD. it's all working but no longer boots up when I turn the power on as it did before. any suggestions?

Hi @SeanAllen,

May I know the full model name of your unit.

Your Revo One RL85 originally came out during the switch from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10. As such it needs a GPT drive booting from UEFI. My guess is that you didn't clone the existing HDD to the SSD, then swap them? Is so we're going to want to look at your partitions and the BIOS boot settings.

What kind of error messages that you got when it failed to boot?

Have you hit F9 (Load Optimized Defaults) and F10 (Save and exit) after cloning from HDD to SSD before bootup?

I don't get an error message. Previously as soon as I switch the power on the PC started , now I have to press the little button on the back of the unit to start up. Other than that it's working just fine.

Go into the BIOS and look at the Power tab. There should be a setting there called something like Restore On AC Power Loss. You likely want 'Last State' or maybe 'On'.
