Hallo.

I have an Acer Aspire and had a problem recently. The following error messages appeared on my screen:

PXE-E61: Media test failure, check cable.
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.
No bootable device--insert boot disk and press any key.

In BIOS setup, the Boot priority order appears as follows:

1. HDDO;
2. ATAPI CDROM;
3. USB FDD;
4. Network Boot: BRCM MBA Slot 0400 v15.0.11;
5. USB HDD;
6. USB CDROM.

Can someone help me with this, should i change the boot priority, do something else?

Thank you in advance for the help provided.

    This kind of error messages frequently are associated with poor connections or a failing ( or failed ) HDD or SSD.

    The BIOS Boot Priority looks normal, with a HDD at the top.

    Have you done System Image Backup previously?

    You should open up the PC to  clean the connectors and reseat the HDD/SSD and try to boot again.

    If problem persist, try a new SSD/HDD.
