I've been using an Aspire A717-72G laptop for a couple years that I have hooked up to two external monitors.
One monitor is hooked up to the HDMI port with an HDMI cable.
The other monitor is hooked up to the USB-A port (blue) right next to the HDMI port with a USB to VGA converter and VGA cable.
Everything has been fine with this setup for a couple years, but a week or two ago it stopped working.
When I hook up the HDMI monitor, it still works fine.
When I hook up the VGA monitor, it still works fine.
But when I hook them both up at the same time, neither of them work.
Any suggestions?

    Hi @LaptopUser23,

    1. Right click on an empty area of the desktop.
    2. Choose Display Settings.
    3. Scroll Down to the Multiple displays area and select select Duplicate these displays or Extend these displays.

I know how to extend the desktop.  It's worked for a couple years.  The problem is that somehow I can't get both monitors to work at the same time anymore.  Either one works fine on its own, but when they are both plugged in, neither works ("No signal").
