mohtad057 the BIOS v1.11 is the latest BIOS for your SF514-52T which is only a specific fix for "Revises settings to support Linux boot up" as its title states and does NOT and will NOT fix boot up times! This BIOS update file named VVBI0111.exe is an executable file that updates BIOS within windows and when you do this BIOS update you always disable your anti-virus, malware software and never ever execute/use any software while the BIOS update is being updated! Also and always make sure that your laptop is on mains power and never ever allow the laptop to lose power while the BIOS update is being updated!

Your boot up times is mainly affected and due to either that your laptop has a faulty SSD boot drive and/or insufficient RAM and/or other faulty settings within your OS. What I would suggest is for your to first backup all your valuable files and then do a “Clean Install of Win-10 Home” by “Create Windows 10 installation media > Download tool now” onto an 8GB USB and reinstall the OEM Win-10 Home of your Swift SF514-52T which is the best and most efficient way to fix your problem. Don’t touch and/or do anything to the BIOS, try this first and if your boot times are still slow then its mainly due to your SSD boot drive that could be faulty and needs replacing.

    please help me!

  • Try resetting the battery:
If the issue continues to occur, go to the bios, press f9 to restore it and then f10 to save and exit. If the issue still occurs, you may need to clear the ME region of the bios.

What is your boot time now? Do you have just the SSD installed, or is a HDD also in it?

Yes, over three minute boot time is excessive, especially with a SSD. Do you have a SSD alone, or SSD and HDD? When you first turn it on, does it stay at a blank screen for a long time, then show the Acer logo, or does the Acer logo show up quickly? If quick, does it stay with the logo (and likely some text) for a long time before the Windows startup with the juggling balls? If the balls show up reasonably quickly, does it go to the blank screen before the login screen quickly or slowly? We are really trying to find out where the delay is in the process...
