Hi Everyone,
Can anyone suggest any remedy for my laptop charging issue.
It doesn't even charges even when it's plugged-in.
When plugged in, it's shows charging for a second and goes off.
Laptop : predator helios 300

    (1) Shut down Windows normally
    (2) Unplug charger. No LEDs should be lit.
    (3) Insert paper clip into reset pinhole on bottom for about a minute
    (4) Plug charger back in but wait till battery charge LED turns from steady orange to steady blue
    (5) Only after battery charge LED turns steady blue, turn laptop back on and immediately press the F2 key to enter the BIOS menu
    (6) Press F9 in the BIOS menu to load defaults. Press F10 to save defaults and exit the BIOS menu
    (7) Laptop should start Windows login normally and charge properly

The Charing cut off issue has been resolved with reset.
There is no steady blue light showing. The blue light shows only when the lid opens.
    The battery it's showing 0%

Congrats. Thanks for reporting back. The steady blue charging LED should be visible with the lid up and laptop off. Once it's steady blue on or off, remove the charger to see if the laptop stays on. If it does stay on, let it continue to run without the charger until you get a Windows low battery warning. Then plug the charger back in. Once the charger LED turns from steady orange to steady blue again the battery meter app should be properly re-calibrated and read between 95-100%, not 0%

Check the unit by charging with different charger.

Vadakkan first thing to check its your battery wear with hwinfo or battery bar pro if more than 15/20% wear you have a faulty battery and you need to get a replacement :)

You must direct your request to Acer customer service support, not post it here on an ACER users forum. We are not Acer employees or service reps on this forum. Go to this link, choose your country, click the support button at top of country page, then enter your machine's serial number id (SNID) to contact Acer  customer service.
