Battery charging problem Aspire a715-74G

My laptop's battery suddenly stops charging while connected to the power. The orange light next to the port starts blinking. If I unplug and plug again, it starts charging normally. But then randomly it stops working at any point. This is an Aspire a715-74G.

I got a new cord and it didn't solve the problem. Also opened it to unplug/plug the battery (as it doesn't seem to have a reset button), but it didn't change anything. It doesn't seem to be the outlet either as it charges correctly for a while. Also tried resetting the battery from the device manager but that didn't work.

What can I do? Any help would be appreciated.

It seems like I needed to get a power cord with a higher power capacity. The original cord must simply have stopped working. The new one I got was 90 watts and didn't charge properly. Now I got a 180 watts charger and it works well.

    Thanks for your answers!

Go to the elevated command prompt.  Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible that compares design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity.
