My laptop screen flickers heavily Acer predator Helios 300

My laptop screen flickers heavily when set at 144hz and moderately at 60hz at a constant rate (ex: 2 seconds normal screen and 2 seconds of flickering), all display drivers are up to date. some time restarting after a long break doesn't create this issues
Please help meee!!!
Laptop name: Acer predator Helios 300
specs: Intel uhd 630 driver, gtx 1060, 16gb ram
refresh rate: 144hz and 60hz

    Try to update the BIOS.

    Sometimes the buzz you are seeing is caused by a poor video cable. Try swapping with a different one to see if the symptoms change.

    I have the exact same issue like @sakthecat it started a couple of weeks ago, just couldn't resolve it. Could you please share the instructions on how to update the BIOS. Thank you.

    dcmidhun check acer website on your own model support page the bios versions available and the notes of what fixes if nothing mentioned in the notes that fixes this particular issue theres no need to update as it wont fix it but youre free to try good luck :)
