Laptop not charging Z1402-330Q

I've had my laptop - Acer One 14 for a very long time and since then I have been using it for school until last August it suddenly stopped working. It wouldn't turn on whenever I press the start button it would show an orange light indicating it needs charging but when I plugged it in it didn't show any light meaning its not charging. At first I thought it was my plug so I moved to a different one but still no signs of charging. I then went to the shop the next day to find a charger that will fit my laptop as it is very hard to find one because I bought my laptop from the Philippines and I am currently living in the UK. I found a charger that fits it but when we tried it it still didn't charge, they suggested that it might be the battery inside the laptop. They offered to fix it but it would be cheaper to just buy a new one. I have important files in this laptop that I want to save in my new laptop, is there anyway I can do this? Or if anyone could suggest what I can do to get this laptop working again that would be better? The model name is Z1402-330Q.

1. Hold windows key and hit letter X.
2. Choose the device manager option.
3. Go with the option battery.
4. Under the title battery.

5. Right click on that option ----> Update all driver under the title battery.
6. Choose "search automatically".

Check this T/S and post the result.

The Acer Z1402 models use a 40W 19V power supply with a 5.5mm barrel plug. The hole for the center electrode is 1.7mm and a lot of the third party supplies have a 2.1mm center hole. Those will fit loose and typically require a little side pressure in order to charge. If the supply they tried had the larger hole there is still a chance things are working and it was the supply that was the issue. Otherwise the battery is likely the culprit. In any case, likely the data is still good and you just need to remove the HDD from your Z1402 and connect it to a different computer to pull the data off. Look for a USB case for a 2.5" SATA drive. They are pretty cheap and will get you in to pull the data off. Your laptop was released around the time we all switched from Windows 8.1 to Windows 10, and now Windows 11 is out and there is only four more years of support for W10, so it might just be a good time for an upgrade...
