External monitor BSOD (AN515-52)

Hello i bought an external monitor LG 144hz 1080p but with latest nvidia drivers i get BSOD every time i alt tab out of fullscreen games like league of legends,rust etc i have integrated graphics turned off im using 388 or 2018 nvidia drivers no BSODS but it limits features like shadowplay that i use a lot and i dont wanna go roll back drivers and do anything with drivers cause i had a problem where my both monitors started to flicker once i plugged in hdmi or BSOD is there any other solution?

    Hi @StreamSniperis

    Since you already tried with the drivers and since it doesn't work. You can try to do a complete reset to check if that has anything to do with this BSOD or before that you can try to reset the BIOS.

    How do I reset my BIOS/UEFI to default settings?
    1. Press and hold the power button for 10 seconds, or until your system shuts completely down.
    2. Power on the system. 
    3. Press F9 and then Enter to load the default configuration.
    4. Press F10 and then Enter to save and exit.

    Please follow the above link to do the reset. 

    NOTE: Make sure to backup all the data in the laptop before you try this reset.
