Install windows on Acer Swift 3 SF314-59-53AC

Hello, 

I am considering of buying this model  Acer Swift 3 SF314-59-53AC which has linux as operating system.
However, I intend to buy official windows 10 and install them and wanted to ask if it is possible since I have seen many threads where they pose difficulties in similar models.

    Yes, you can install the win 10.

    Yes, you can install the win 10.

    Those Swift 3 models come from the factory with either Windows or Linux, so you should have no issues with the install. Why not just buy the version that has Windows already installed already? My guess is Acer pays a lot less for the license than you will have to.

    @billsey thank you for your answer, I would buy the windows version of course, but its not available from the retailers in my country (Greece). They bring specific models, and the one I posted is one of them. Preferrably I would choose a 16Gb ram, and some color eg pink or blue or copper. 
    Unfortunatelly I cant find such. 
    Also I read that the ram is soldered and cannot be modified, while the MSI modern 14 is fully replacable. Its a thing to consider

    It's odd that the retailers don't sell with Windows installed, I wonder if there is a significant extra cost for the OS? As you say, the memory is not upgradable, you get either the 8GB or 16GB installed from the factory and no more. The drives shipped with the model are all NVMe x4 SSDs in the M.2 2280 form factor, so there are lots of upgrade possibilities there. I believe the reason they don't put DIMM sockets on the motherboard is the extra thickness that would introduce to the design. Thin and light is a big factor to the marketing folks...

    retailers have 10 products of the 100 versions acer has, and whatever is left over.. so I have to make do with whatever is available. 
    eg, they only bring the silver color one, no colored at all except the one i posted which is copper.
     Ideally I wanted the copper for my wife, but with 16Gb ram and win 10, but the only copper they have is 8gb and linux
    They have silver 16gb win 10, but no other colors....

    frustrating..
