I just got an acer nitro 5 with an rtx 3060 and did a bit of mining on it.

I got about 78-80C at first and managed to get it down to 70-71C by putting a fan under it. Are those good temps for the laptop to be running constantly or will it destroy my laptop? What are some good temps for it to be running safely at?

I am also thinking of repasting it with thermal grizzly kryonaut extreme. Is that a good option? Can you recomend some other option that is good for me?

    Hi @sheryboy,

If you have an AMD Ryzen processor, you could say that a CPU core temperature of over 40-45-degrees Celsius while idling and/or a temperature of over 85-95 degrees (depending on the Ryzen generation) Celsius while under full load is probably be cause for concern.
