Hi, I have two Acer Aspire laptops, ES1-111M-63CP ( approx 8 yrs old ) and ES1-132-C22B ( approx 5 yrs 0ld ). Both have been unused for approx 4 to 6 yrs . A couple of days ago I got them off the shelf and re-installed Win10 via the recovery method. Both comps have Win10 + the latest updates,  I then installed Ccleaner . After the install I ran Disk Clean (System files )  followed by Ccleaner. I was very surprised to see that the free space on the two comps was vastly different, i.e the 63CP ( the older comp ) showed Windows  10.3 GB on the disk and 15.7 GB free space, whereas the C22B showed Windows  11.8 GB on the disk and 11.3 GB free space. I should point out that on the 63Cp  the install was via Windows whereas the other was via a factory install i.e it had all of the acer junk which I then deleted. This factory install was the result of me having to delete anything and every thing because of a lack of free space from its original setup, it had 3.6 GB of free space and therefore refused to recover.. NB. both comps have exactly the same updates. Both comps were loaded and updated at the same time. Both have 4GB of ram.
So one has a Windows install size of 10.3 GB and the other 11.8 GB a difference of 1.5 GB, so what gives?
Any help or thought would be appreciated!
