Such a sudden, I could not start Aspire E14 E-5 457-53HG.
It is 5 years old.
Power light Blue, Battery light  orange, CPU fun spins.
Both light just light up without flashing.
Its battery is dead for 2 years but it worked on AC power after that.
I used it for an hour before it happened.

I have tried
disconnect AC power,
hold down power button
reset Battery
reconnect AC
tried to turn on again .

It does not boot up to BIOS at all.
Is there any thing I can try before sending it to a repair shop?
Please advise
Thanks

Prior to this , I got only black screen  when power was on, force shut down and restart again  for a few times.

You must remove screws and bottom cover to disconnect the battery from the mainboard. It probably has a shorted cell. Hopefully it has not leaked inside. A dead and shorted battery is a fire hazard when connected like this.

    Thanks,
I have removed Battery as you advised.
Only Blue power light is on when I switch on , CPU fun runs, LCD flash very brief and a very short sound from DVD drive as well.
They were there previously as well.
They all went off within a second but only Blue light and CPU fan remain working.

    Hi @Aung_KK,

It looks like hardware issue. Contact acer tech support.

    (1) With the charger plugged in, press and hold power button for 5 seconds till the laptop shuts off.
    (2) Then remove the charger for about 30 minutes.
    (3) Then plug the charger back in.
    (4) Press and hold F2 key.
    (5) While still holding F2 key, turn machine back on.
    (6) Does the BIOS menu appear?

    (1) Does pressing FN+F6 or FN+F5 have any effect?
    (2) Do you see external screen if you HDMI out to a TV set?

Did the battery pack show any evidence for leakage onto the mainboard?
