XV282K display turns off when I open a game. Any fix?

I have an Xbox Series X plugged into my monitor with the HDMI 2.1. I have enabled the HDMI 2.1 setting on the monitor, and have my Xbox set to 4k 120fps. When I open any game the display goes black, but the monitor stays on. The Xbox stays on and I can hear the game start up as usual (through my headset) but nothing on screen. None of the buttons on the monitor work during this, so I can't access the monitor settings. The only solution I have found is to turn off my Xbox before I can access the monitor settings. I don't have this issue when I have it set to 1440p 120fps.

You can try to reinstall the display drivers for the monitor to check if it does make any difference.
