Hello everyone!
So recently i just bought this laptop , which is Acer Aspire 5 A515-45 (Ryzen 5 5500u) . And im thinking to buy a monitor to connect with my laptop. And i've been busy with assignment and gaming stuff so i thought about buying a 144Hz Monitor. Can i connect 144Hz Monitor with 60Hz Laptop? And what is my laptop HDMI version? Because i've been searching for that but it just dont have any information. I hope you guys willing to answer this. Thank You.

Version 2. Its radeon GPU and port might support higher resolutions and refresh rates but 60Hz is maximum guaranteed.

Thank you so much! By the way ,  1.4b , is that the same with 1.4 or what? And is it 2.0 or 1.4? Thank you!

Yes, you should be able to use a 144Hz-capable monitor even though your output may be 60Hz. Also yes, your A515-45  model should have the newer HDMI version 2.0 specification.
