New Acer Spin 3 Battery Light Not Working

Hi, I purchased a spin 3 a couple weeks ago.  The only big setting changes that I've made was to limit charging to 80%.  Last night my battery was below 10% so I turned it off and planned to charge it this morning.  When I plugged it in, the battery light wouldn't turn on, so I thought maybe it wasn't charging.  I turned on the laptop to check, and ot was charging, but still no battery light was being displayed.  The other strange thing, is that for a couple minutes the battery icon had moving bars as it charged (left to right, empty to full), and now it is back to being steady. When I went to access the acer website from my laptop, it wouldn't let me connect, so I to access right now through my phone.  Any idea what's going on?  When I searched for this issue, I couldn't find any results.

It sounds like you are dealing with more than one issue. Let's start with the internet access and get to the battery status display afterwards, since the display is less critical. With Windows booted can you access any web sites, or is only Acer failing?
