I bought this laptop like a year ago and I faced this issue from the starting but not as often as now like the frames would be smooth and normal for some time and then it would instant drop like from 180+ to literally 60 to 80, then after i turn on the TURBO mode it runs in the low fps for some time and then after sometime if I turn off the turbo mode then for some time game will run smooth and i will get max frames and the frames instantly drops down again.

I am facing this issue in games like Call of Duty Warzone, Battlefield 2042, The Forest, GTA5 and most games which have good graphics.

SPECS OF MY LAPTOP:
  Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10750H
  16.0 GB ram
  64 bit
  RTX 2060

The highest temperature i am getting is :-1:
CPU 95
GPU 88

Elanchezhiyan youre thermal throttling on both cpu/dgpu thats why your getting fps drops have u optimized your windows properly and undervolted with TS if so repasting its the only solution with kryonaut or similar if youre able to without voiding your warranty cpu shouldnt go above 85'ish and dgpu 70/75 max above that it will start to thermal throttle you most probably have a bad thermal paste application the stock paste its already itself rubbish and even worse if badly applied  good luck :)

Easwar really ?? is that the advice you have for the OP with thermal issues reinstall the software will fix it LMFAO :pensive:

I really think you need to stop giving bad advices and google the solutions (do some proper reading) to learn or get someone to teach you about troubleshooting tech issues as your experience with any laptops/desktops in my view its completely --0

You shouldnt even be trying to do something that you dont even know yourself how to do neither understand so please get some learning done first before trying to help anyone else do that favor to yourself as since you have started in this community about 8 months ago all we Ace's do its correcting the supposedly solutions youre giving its just embarassing to you at this point youre just here trying to fool everyone to get points to get promoted fast but i have news for you i wont work that way your case will be reviewed so if i were you i would really consider learning the basics first as that would save much of our voluntary precious time that we loose trying to fix what you advice instead of using that time to help more ppl but as always seems to me you do not care about anyone in this community at all unfortunately  :)

Increase your game settings to medium like texture quality,anti-analysing,shadow. By this cpu usage increase and you may get better fps. Try to customize settings between medium and high then find out which is better for you. ««Increase your game settings to medium like texture quality,anti-analysing,shadow.

I am already playing most of my games in medium or low settings and it does the same with them too, but one of my friends has the same laptop 2019 version he doesn't face this issue on the same games on high graphics.

Could this issue be caused of not proper usage of thermal paste?

    Hi @Elanchezhiyan,

Try to uninstall and reinstall the application and check the issue.
