I have v1.01 and the latest is v1.04, which is a system stability improvement. I saw comments saying that you shouldn't update the BIOS on a working machine, only if it directly addresses a problem, because it's possible to brick the laptop. But I saw a few videos on YT, and it doesn't seem to be too hard to do.
I have an Aspire A715-42G-R45B.

Firmware updates are primarily for resolving serious issues or disabling problems that some production mainboards may be experiencing. They  usually carry a significantly higher risk of bricking the machine or causing adverse side effects than ordinary driver software updates and should be considered irreversible. Accordingly, firmware updates are not recommended in your case.

Does it have a system stability problem that needs improvement?
