Hi I have an Acer aspire V3-572PG and I can't go to any earlier system restores.

Was System Protection turned on in Control Panel's restore point app? If the allocated disk space for restore points was too small, the automatic restore points are purged quite frequently

I suppose you have checked that little square for " Show More Restore Points" before you claim " I can't go to any earlier system restores". If you have not done so, go check it.

This had been going on since Win Vista. Whenever a restore point was read and roll back occurred, all restore points got wiped out for my PC. I guess that is the way it is set up for.

However, I thought the default allocated space by Win 10 for restore points may be too small. Shortly after Win 10 activation, I'll change the "Configuration" of the System Protection restore points to about five times of the default space allocated by Win 10 to ensure I may have at least 20 restore points before automatically deleted due to insufficient allocated space.

That may take up certain amount of storage space, but I think it is worth it.
