Why does my Aspire A515-56 laptop randomly lose it's WiFi capability?

Hi group, newbie here. I use my mobile phone as a wifi hotspot to give me internet connection on my Aspire A515-56 laptop. However twice now it randomly loses wifi and won't reconnect. When I look for nearby networks of which there are around 10 (using it in a shopping centre) it won't find any. Hubby uninstalled the MediaTek drive and reinstalled the first time, back to working for a week and then it happened again. While I uninstalled the driver, it never required reinstalling but still never worked. I repeated this process numerous times and then it decided to work. The second time troubleshooter told me the bluetooth device was all ok, although it clearly wasn't. Before I go this in for service, does anyone have any info as to why and if it's a simple fix? Cheers all!

Open Device Manager. Do you see any red or yellow warnings? If not, click on network adapters folder. Right click on wifi adapter. Click properties. Click power management tab. Uncheck the box for turning off wifi to save power.

Thanks JackE. Tried this, all good until the power management tab - I don't have one. Tried searching through the laptop for this option but can't find. Heres a photo of what I have.
