Hello, I recently got a Gen 4 Nvme 980 pro evo ssd card and installed it on my Acer Nitro 5 model 2020. After this, I had issues getting into my PC, first my screen turned black, but after that I found a solution around. After that, I could log in, I settled up the ssd as a secondary storage for my games, but suddenly my computer went to the blue screen and never resetted. Then I contacted Acer and they said my updating system was damaged before hand and that the ssd had almost nothing to do, and showed me this. They gave me the option to pay for a fix and to talk with the technicias since they also said I couldn't download any game
on my ssd because it just wont let me because its made for that. I already downloaded 2 games on the SSD but now my perfomance in games and dramatically bad now. I barely get 10 fps in games in which I easily could hit an average of 60+. If anyone knows what happened or got any solution pls respond, Im literally having a heart attack.

Setting up a Samsung 980 Pro M.2 NVMe SSD and using it as a slave drive should work perfectly and should have nothing to do with your problems! Have you activated the TRIM command through windows and have you installed the Samsung "Magician" software and set this drive up properley ? and also diagnoised the GPU (cleaned fans or repasted GPU and CPU?) and updated the graphics driver to see if the fps drop is fixed ? as thatis one essential thing that oyu shold do first. Have a look at these ecellent post from this forum of  or the Windows 10 optimization guide for gaming or FAQ - CPU, GPU, Temps, FPS, Settings, & Other Info to learn and setup your system accordingly.
