Hey guys, I have a 3-4 year old ACER VX 15 and lately I've been encountering battery issues. I've been noticing that the laptop's battery life from maximum capacity has slowly been getting shorter and shorter. I am honestly fine with this but just upon checking recently my laptop's battery capacity is now always @ 0%. The charging LED is indeed lighting up and the laptop instantly turns off when unplugged.

Go to the elevated command prompt.  Enter 'powercfg /batteryreport'. Then return to the desktop. Open file explorer. Then search for' battery-report.html' in the c:\windows\system32\ sub-folder. Double-click to open it in the browser. Post screenshot of the first part of the report if possible that compares design full charge capacity with its remaining full charge capacity.

If the remaining capacity is significantly less than 50% of the original design capacity, time for a new battery. Just google search keywords ' your full model number (for example VX5-591G)' & battery for vendors who ship to your location. About $30usd.

Only about 46% capacity left after the last time it was measured. With the laptop turned off, If the battery charge LED is blinking or stays steady orange never blue after about 6-8 hours, you need to replace the battery.
