Orion 3000 stupid loud fan noise.

I got this computer as a gift around a year ago on christmas, for some reason it's making EXTREMELY loud fan noises every now and then, I check Predator sense and nothing seems to be wrong with the tempatures. Now I already cleaned out dust, made sure everything was in place and whatnot, now the only thing I can think of is a factory reset!

Do you know which fan (or fans) is making it? I suppose it is the one on the tiny CPU HSF and rear exhaust fan as they seem to work in unison. Unfortunately the only way to silence them is to replace the HSF and rear fan.

There are many threads on these forums how to do it, but usually people change them because of high temps.

Take a look at the temperatures, to see if they're running higher than normal or putting out weird numbers... Fan speed is set based on the temperature, working to hold them at the optimal value.
