For some reason, there are some times when the WI-Fi speed suddenly drops and the only way to get it back to normal is by turning the laptop's WI-Fi off and on. I also noticed on my smartphone that for some reason, there's a WI-Fi 6 hotspot called "PSMobile_username". My guess was that it was coming from my laptop, because I have no other WI-Fi 6 devices nearby, so I turned the laptop's WI-Fi off, and the hotspot disappeared, so it is definitely coming from the laptop and whenever that hotspot appears, the laptop's WI-Fi speed drops, until I turn the laptop's WI-FI off an on again. Has this happened to you? Do you know if there's a fix for that? It is starting to get annoying at this point and has never happened in the year I've been using this laptop.

Disabling and enabling the wifi is a good option which you have done..

You can also switch between 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz wifi and check the speed.

Kindly do the steps given below:

    Try windows x
    go to device manager
    expand network adapter
Right click on wifi adapter - uninstall
    restart the computer.

If it is still not working properly

    Go to website - support.acer.com
    chose your country
type the snid or chose the model no
    go to drivers
    Install the wireless driver

Before installing the wireless driver go to device manager - uninstall the wireless driver.    Without restarting the computer - try to install the wireless driver from acer support website.

Yeah, I think that would be my last resort right now, reinstalling the driver. Thank you very much for the advice! I'll be testing tomorrow, let's hope that solves the issue! haha Something tells me that the last Windows update I downloaded recently had to do with that lol
