I have a Predator Helios 300 PH315-53-75V0 with an I7-10750H and the CPU is running very hot while gaming (sometimes spikes above 90C) and in idle (stays around 46C, spiked up to 70C while typing this).
I think the main reason is that it's throttling to much, even without much load it throttles up to around 3,6 GHz.
I noticed this problem very early on and look up some video's on it. Found one that said to go to my power settings and set the max CPU percentage to 99%, which helped with the temps.
Now I wonder if there is any way to lower the temps, without limiting the CPU to 2,448 GHz (even lower that the base 2,6 GHz) to get better performance.

@YYorrick spikes are normal whats not normal its steady temps on cpu above 85'ish and dgpu 70/75 have u optimized your windows properly and undervolted if so and your average temps are higher that what i had mentioned you need to get it repasted with kryonaut or similar if your able to without voiding your warranty also dont disable turbo boost as it will not boost over the base clocks thats not a solution and just ***** its like u getting a gaming laptop and by doing that transforming it into a core i3 or something like that just use TS to undervolt check my signature good luck :)

Thanks for your awnser, but I don't know how to do all off that. Is it even possible to repaste without voiding the warrenty?

If you dont have any warranty seal/stickers that you have to break to disassemble it yes its fine otherwise only acer can do it :)

So first I'll try undervolting to see if that makes any difference. Like yesterday is put the powerlimit back to 100% and got an average temp of 85C while playing Payday 2 with everything max (have a GTX 1660Ti).

    Hi @YYorrick,

Did you increase the fan speed to reduce the temp.

No I didnt. Yesterday I undervolted my cpu and it seems to be helling. Reduced temps to a steady 60-65C
