i have predator triton 300 2020 and i was practicing some html and css then the screen blacked out. laptop boots up, fans are running, turbo button does its work but screen is blacked out.
i tried to do hard boot, connected to external display, updated and restarted some drivers. nothing worked
i tried but was not able to take out back cover to try re-inserting ram and cmos battery.
what are possible reasons for this problem?
what can be solutions?

Let us do the power drain and bios defaults first.

Turn off the computer.   Disconnect all the cables and external devices.   Press and hold the power button for 1 min.    Connect all the cables back.

Turn on the computer.   Tap f2 while turning on the computer.   Press f9 once.  It will show you load defaults with yes or no.  Press enter.  Press f10 -  save the changes popup will come up.   Press enter.

It will be loading the windows without the black screen.

Are you able to get into bios and view the bios screen.    Are you able to do bios defaults.  Try fn + f6,  Try fn + f7 to get the display back.   What exactly happens when you turn on the computer?

Turn off the computer.   Hold the alt key on the left bottom of keyboard and tap f10 continuously while turning on the computer.  Check whether you are getting the continue, troubleshoot, advanced options.   If it is not working try the same steps by holding the alt gr or alt car on the right and keep tapping f10 while turning on the computer.

Don't worry.   You say it is only 7 months old.  You can always contact the warranty dept.   Go to support.acer.com - chose  your country - scroll down - click on contact acer - you will find the phone no to contact the Acer warranty dept.

i am sorry, i was not able to explain clearly.
The display is dead. Nothing is shown in the screen. Laptop boots up with blank screen. The predator logo is not shown either.
I can know a laptop boots up as i can open camera app by pressing windows, type camera and hit enter and webcam light turns on. also, fans spin fast on pressing turbo button.
But the problem is screen is not working. Nothing is shown. You gave me some instructions but how will i be able to navigate through bios menu if nothing is being shown on screen?

I understand when you turn on the computer it goes to a complete black screen.   Try to use a flash light and flash it on the screen and  check what happens.

Connect  the charger on a different power outlet on a different room and check.   Try to bypass the surge protector and connect it directly to power outlet and check.   Try to use the computer without the charger and check ( as long as the battery is not completely drained out )

situation update: after more than 2 months taken, my laptop is fixed. It was covered by warranty. They said that there was issue on both display and motherboard. I wish that nobody gets this type of problem.
