Hi,

I have been using Acer Nitro 5 An515-55 (2020) for one month. Today, i realized there is some kind of dead pixel on the screen. However, when i shot with zoom camera, I decided that it is rather a dust or a small insect inside the panel. Actually I have kinda OCD and i can't unsee it. What can i do? Can warranty service do anything other than repair? I think repairing is almost impossible unless done in a clean-room. If someone take apart lcd layers, there will possibly be many more dusts stuck inside. And if this normally happens to a 1-month laptop, i can't imagine how many dusts will get inside in upcoming years:(

Thanks in advance,
Best

    Hello!!

@girizgah, Sad to know that you see a Dead Pixel or Insect - Dust in the panel of 1 month old unit.

If it is a Dead Pixel, Acer has its own Dead Pixel Policy. Please click here to check that policy.

As you feel it is a dust - insect on the panel, It is recommended to contact Acer Technical Support in your region. As it is 1 month old unit, possibly the unit can be taken for assessment and get fixed.

    Hope the information helps!!

    Regards,
