I use a Acer Predator Helios 300. Sudden Shut down without warning

The laptop suddenly shuts down without warning... this pattern is more observable when running a high end game but not limited to it...it follows pattern which looks like it has to do something with the thermal system of the laptop...

I have gotten it cleaned by a professional and i have even done a soft reset of the C drive...but the problem persists...
I read it in a previous thread that it can be problem from the interlock switch behind the RAM door that is not being pressed entirely.
But there is no such button in my laptop!!!
There is a slot where it was supposed to be and there is a sponge cushion fixed to the door that should go against the button...BUT THERE IS NO PUSH BUTTON.

Could you guys please help me out with this? Thank you!

First, what is your exact Predator laptop model number? Also, the Predator models designed to take allot of heat and for this laptop to shut down your system has to get very hot and/or there is something wrong with either the 2x fans that are not working 100% and/or they are turning off intermittently hence, they are triggering the CPU or the GPU to overheat and making the system turn off. Just as an example the Predator PH315-53 was designed with the following fans true values:

CPU Fan True Value Table (Tj=100'C) (FH53M_2070/2060/1660(N18E-G1R/N18E-G1B/N18E-G0)_OC2):
    • CPU Temperature at max 95°C - Fan 2 Speed is at 3100rpm and Fan 1 Speed is at 3700rpm (CPU's PROCHOT is at 98°C and OS shut down is at 100°C and H/W shut down at PH1=85°C)
VGA Fan True Value Table (Tj=97'C) (FH53M_2070/2060/1660(N18E-G1R/N18E-G1B/N18E-G0)_OC1
    • GPU Temperature at 90°C - Fan 2 Speed is at 4400rpm and Fan 1 Speed is at 5300rpm (CPU PROCHOT at 95°C OS shut down at 96°C)

@jenX first of all check your temps if they are way high theres your reason for the shutdowns and you would need to get it repasted and yes we need the full model number of your laptop as only the 2017/18 have the power kill switch in the ram cover and the battery power drain switch all other newer ones from 2019 up its only the power button that acts as powerdrain also you said you got it cleaned by a professional did he repasted it properly with kryonaut or similar or just cleaned it as most times you need to get it repasted and some <<<so called professionals>>> also do do very bad repastes especialy when it comes to laptops as i have seen it myself personally and they will charge u high amounts of money for a rubbish job thats why i prefer to do everything myself at least im sure it was done properly also do the same for friends and family  :)
