I have several questions regarding the
NVIDIA GTX960M video card on Acer Aspire V Nitro.
So, the computer model is VN7-792G
7786, video driver installed is 456.55 but I tried previously several
that came with the installation DVD for mentioned laptop.
The problems:
NVIDIA Control Panel is missing
tree menus. There is only 3d settings visible. I can not change the
video card <--> display. (therefore no use for video RAM on
GTX card)
When I connect second monitor, it
attaches to Intel HD Graphics 530 and it does not allow change. I
was expecting that external monitor is going to attach to GTX
card....again,
not using GTX video ram and at the
same time in too much load on intel video.
Open GL is an old version 1.1 –
how can I change that if anyway possible?
...can you give me some instructions
for resolving these issues?
PS. I know that I can use the gtx card
for some programs-software but that again is not functioning good
when on external display.
Regards.
