Hi,

I recently bought the Acer CB2 Ultrawide monitor, and it works fine but I am having trouble getting it to automatically turn back on after going to sleep.

I have it connected to my Dell laptop, extending its screen. When my laptop screen blacks out/ sleeps, the monitor goes to sleep. However, when I turn the laptop screen back on, the monitor does not wake up, instead it gives a No Signal message. I have to unplug the HDMI cable and plug it back in every time my laptop goes to sleep or blacks out to get the screen working properly.

Any help would be appreciated

Did you check with VGA cable.

It's connected through an HDMI cable. I tried two different cables and the same result happens. I tried connecting the laptop through the same HDMI cable to a different monitor and it wakes up fine when my laptop turns on.

The monitor doesn't have a VGA port. Only HDMI & DPI
