Hi!
I ve a swift 3 with i3 1115G4, i'm wathing netflix in google chrome and the laptop randomly freeze for 1-3 second and coming back to normal. Laptop is doing well for a hour then randomly freezes 10 times in the next hour. When the freeze is coming or happening, in the task manager i can see "System" task is taking about 15% of my processor, when freeze over is going back to 1%. Laptop is with windows 10 mainly every updates on drivers too. I installed windows like 5 days ago so its very fresh. Should i contact with acer service? I saw a forum with very similar problem on a swift 3 it had motherboard problem. Thanks forany idea and for your time, have a nice day!

It could be a motherboard problem as in the other case, but it would be nice to pin it down more before taking the warranty repair step. Try running any of the utilities that display the CPU temperature. If the CPU gets too hot it will get throttle back until it cools back off, and that could present as freezes. What are you running for your antivirus, the one that was included or Windows Defender? Background virus scan of files you are connecting too can also cause glitches like that. In fact, almost all things you do over the network can cause them, especially if there's something else running in the background that's also using network bandwidth.

It's brand new and only googlechrome running so overheating or atleast hit 50-55 Celsius is almost impossible. I didn't installed any antivirus softwer only defender running, maybe i will turn off but i can see in task manager if anything else using the computer, but its not, only "system" task start to use processor up to 15% then freeze is happening (in that 1-3 sec) and nothing else using when freeze is happening .:s

If the thermal paste between CPU and heat pipe is bad you could be running into temperature problem even under very low load. So check to see what they actually are at. 15% isn't anything to cause a freeze per se, even if all on one core you're not using everything. The freeze could be called by an app or driver doing a request for access to the PCIe bus, then not releasing it. Running in safe mode should remove that from the possibilities.
