Nitro 5 won’t boot after ram upgrade [PLEASE HELP]

I have a an515-42-r5ed acer nitro 5. It came with 8gb ram, I wanted to upgrade my ram so I bought another 8gb ram stick. The ram stick I bought was a PNY 8gb ram stick and was compatible with 2400 MHz sticks. Every time I boot my laptop I either get “your pc/device needs to be repaired; Error Code 0xc0000221” or an infinite “preparing automatic repair” But when I put in my new ram or old ram in either one of the spots (by itself) it boots fine, it only breaks when both of them are in the laptop. Could anyone please help?

Try to swap the slots and check.    Both the ram sticks are not playing together.

Both the ram sticks might not be compatible with each other due to their specifications..   Try to check the correct specification of both the ram sticks individually..

Kindly go through the details given below.   The info provided below will be very helpful to get the current memory and ssd details of your computer and the options to upgrade it.

Please visit the website  given below .  There is an option to  "start your scan "  and " select your computer " .   Please chose the options and try it.   It will show you the memory and SSD’s details and the best upgrade options for you..

It will tell you what you currently have and what you can add for memory and SSD's.      Contact the vendor you purchased and try to get the same specification of the old memory you had so that both can play each other when they are inserted next to each other..

I found out the solution, turns out one of my ram sticks had 16 chips and the other one had 8 which was the reason they weren’t working together. But thank you for your help 😁
