Hi - I have a grayscale problem on my Acer V206HQLB monitor, which I use with a laptop.

I recently switched from a VGA to HDMI-based laptop. I added in a VGA-HDMI adapter to facilitate the switch.

On my laptop I get the following view of these Gray-Scale Colors.

However, on my Acer monitor the entire F and E rows and a third of the D row are blinding white.

Anyone come across this before?

I am unable to read some websites as a result.

I found a solution that helps. In WIndows 10 Color Management, there is an adjustment to the Gray Scale that can be made using three screens with different colors. Moving these three adjustments at the same helped me see the F, E and D rows more clearly. Look for Calibrate Display under Color Management>Advanced. Drag the window to the monitor and adjust the settings until these rows become viewable.
