My laptop has lost all audio capabilities seemingly overnight. I cannot play any sound nor can I use my microphone.
I've identified the problem as being the Intel(R) Smart Sound Technology OED.

There is a little yellow caution symbol on it indicating an issue. When I go to properties, it says there is a Code 10 error.

I have tried the following:
Updating the driver.
Disabling the driver then enabling it.
Uninstalling the driver without deleting and restarting.
Uninstalling and deleting the driver and restarting.
Uninstalling and deleting both the Audio Controller and the OED and restarting.
Downloading the Audio Driver and Audio Console directly from Acer and updating to that (

Used Drive Booster to look for updates.
I've also been on microsoft support chat 3 separate times to no avail.
I have googled this endlessly but none of the recommended fixes have worked for me.
Has anyone had this issue and been able to resolve it? I want to learn how to fix it myself incase it reoccurs.
