Hello everyone, helios 300 owner here. I've had my laptop for almost a year now, and haven't experienced a noise problem like this up until yesterday. I randomly heard a knocking noise coming from the vents, sort of like a lawnmower starting(sorry but this is the only description I can think of) and its only noticeable when fans are rotating at a fast speed while gaming.Im quite perplexed and a bit worried because I don't know a lot about laptops, so Im not sure whether this is a serious problem or not. Any help is appreciated, thank you.
Ps: I do have warranty but I can't use it because there are no official acer establishments in my country, which means I would have to send the laptop to a different country.

@Mmbbtt knocking noise could be a bent fan axel/blade or even a broken blade i would suggest you to contact acer support asap and arrange to send it back to wherever the nearest service center is available also bare in mind we do not work for acer we are normal users like yourself that are here voluntarily on our own free time to help in the best way we can/know also this community support its user driven acer staff mainly only manages it and will only step in when really necessary so this is not the official acer support channel this is a troubleshooting community so as i previously said please contact acer support asap good luck hope u get it fixed soon :)

Thanks for the help. Unfortunately I dont think i will be able to approach official acer help because they don't operate in my country. But what I can do is look for any third party help, and that is probably what im going to do. Again, thanks for the help.

Youre welcome but even if they dont have a service centre in your country the warranty should still be valid and redirected to the nearest one (as long as you havent imported it from the US for ex where its cheaper in order to evade tax/customs etc) you should contact support anyways or the store/shop where you bought it from :)
