A mystical problem aspire R7 571 (not starting)

Hi friends!

I have a laptop Acer aspire   R7 571

I got the battery a long time ago and was without it. One day I lost the light and after that it stopped turning on immediately. By some miracle, he turned on after about 12 hours.

This has happened several times. Now the light is gone and it no longer turns on. I went to the workshop of my city, then no one can find a problem.

When the laptop turned on, everything worked, but it started to hang in the browser a bit.

It does not show any signs of life, but the last time it turned on after 12 hours and I wore it in the workshop, it also did not show any signs at that time.

Replaced only the battery on the BIOS and it did not help. There are no more options. Also disconnected everything (keyboard, microphone, etc.), it did not help.

What shall I do?

You probably need a new charger. Google search R7-571 & charger for vendors who ship to your location. Less than $20usd for a new charger. A 45watt or 65watt charger should be fine.

Please measure output of both charger plugs between outer barrel contact and center hole contact. Should 19volts DC.

No. Please check output of both charger plugs only with wires free to move about. Motherboard may be equipped with safety interlock switch which cuts all power to power button board & motherboard boot circuits if covers are removed. You cannot test power on with covers removed to measure voltage.

Okay, thanks, I'll check it tomorrow and write it off. I also forgot to point out that the volume up button stopped working for me. Could this be important too?

    >>>volume up button stopped working for me. Could this be important too>>>

Maybe. This is usually due to sticky hygroscopic debris (aka food crumbs) that can & does get trapped and accumulate on the key switch under the volume up key cover. Sometimes using a soft bristle facial blush brush to gently dig under the cover along with compressed air can dislodge this debris so it starts working better again. The same might happen to the power switch under the power switch cover.

I bought a new charger, it didn't help. Cleaning the button did not work either.

Then you'll have to remove the base cover and try to reseat the ribbon cable from the power button board to the mainboard a few times to try to clean the contacts. If that doesn't work, then you'll have to replace the board and cable. Google search part no. 55.m9un2.002 for sellers who ship to your location. About $25usd for new board and cable.

Thanks for reporting this. But how did you find this out? What one track? There are hundreds of conductor tracks or traces. Some can be easily fixed. Some not. At any rate, new replacement motherboards can be as low as $50usd for this model.

I sent a good specialist to another city. He found the problem and rebuilt the track.
