Word downloads do not complete on Aspire 5

I have an Aspire 5 running the latest Windows 10. This week after no noticeable update or changes, it stopped completing downloads of Word documents. Doesn't matter what browser I'm using to download a document. I've not seen this issue reported. Any suggestions? Thanks.

So are you saying you can download anything from ALL sources or just Word documents? If you can't downloard any Word documents, then re-install Word.

Are you using onedrive or some other service associated with Office? Have you tried to re-install Office yet? Or are you simply storing Word docs on onedrive or googledrive?

    Hi JReindl,

When purchasing the system acer will give an one year of free subscription after that users only have to pay for further use.

I am simply downloading, usually just to desktop in order to put on google drive or print.

Yes. I understood that. But where are you downloading the Word document from? In other words, what website are you trying to download the Word document from?

Documents are from all sources, some from Google Drive. Some from email attachments.
